DESCRIPTION
CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES OF THE PLANT
The air separation plant is constructed and designed for unattended operation. Only occasional inspections are necessary.
Operating changes with longer periods of time will be controlled manually, i. e. start-up, shut-down or deriming of the cold box.The plant consist of several units (packaged). These units, including all operation devices and all control devices, are designed for outdoor erection and are provided with noise- and weather protection.
Main advantages of this plant conception are workshop-mounted units, no bulding requirements, simple foundation work, short erection time and therfore low erection as well as civil work costs. |
Constructional premises are a well prepared site including approach roads, foundations for all units and compressors, utility supply and drainage.

For actual operation of the plant under tropical conditions, the plant design shell allow a certain variation of the basic data as given above (i. e. concerning temperatures of cooling water and air temperatur and humidity). Such deviations at the time of acceptance shall be taken into account using acknowledged technical rules.
The design of the plant allows full flexibility between the production of gaseous oxygen and gaseous nitrogen.
